We empower everyday people to do extraordinary things: defending their communities through safe networks, mutual aid, and collective action. From our first rally in Washington, D.C. to our ongoing campaigns across the country, we’ve shown what’s possible when courage meets community.
Our mission is simple but powerful: stand against fascism, uplift the most disenfranchised, and build a future rooted in justice and equity.

Coats for Courage
This September, FAFO is counting on our members, friends and partners to collect coats and winter gear with unhoused veterans and their families in mind.
Here’s how you can take part:

Donate new or gently used coats and winter gear.

Contribute so we can fill the gaps with needed items.

Encourage by adding handwritten notes that carry messages of solidarity.
Coats for Courage is about neighbors standing shoulder to shoulder — honoring veterans’ courage and showing that our community takes care of its own.
