We empower everyday people to take extraordinary action: building safe networks, supporting one another through mutual aid, and standing shoulder-to-shoulder against hate and authoritarianism.
From our first rally in Washington, D.C. to nationwide campaigns for justice and accountability, FAFO shows what’s possible when courage meets community.

MUTUAL AID MATTERS
Coats for Courage is our winter call to action, inviting communities everywhere to start local drives collecting new or gently used coats, hygiene kits, and cold-weather gear for organizations supporting unhoused veterans and their families.
Each coat should include one handwritten letter of encouragement — a message of warmth and hope someone can hold onto through the cold season.
We’d love to highlight the impact happening across the country.
