This rally is a powerful call to action against fascism and the current administration’s efforts to erase marginalized veterans from history—LGBTQ+ people, disabled individuals, and people of color who have served and sacrificed for our country. It’s about resisting the forces of hatred and oppression, rejecting attempts to divide us, and taking a stand for the beauty of diversity—something the government refuses to recognize and protect.
We stand in solidarity with those whose voices have been silenced and whose dignity has been threatened—not only veterans, but all those who have been marginalized, persecuted, or denied their rights. Their resilience reminds us that we must never allow history’s darkest chapters to repeat, and we must continue to fight for the fair and equal treatment of all human beings.
On April 30th, we unite for justice, equality, and the preservation of our shared humanity and history. Join us in Washington, D.C., or, if you’re unable to travel, visit your local VA, stand on the sidewalk outside, and cheer, “We love our VA!” Don't forget to share your photos with us using #WeLoveOurVA.
